After graduating from the Kent Institute of Art & Design with a BA (Hons) in Illustration, Robert quickly found himself working as a graphic designer, which he did for many years. He has designed magazines, adverts, leaflets, logos and mastheads, company branding and redesigned a regional newspaper.

Between 2001 – 2009 he wrote and illustrated his own small press comics that he sold at comic conventions around the UK. He has also been a caricaturist and occasionally still is.
